Flowing ideas while walking – what we can learn from the old Greek

According to the motto "moving mind in a moving body", the philosophers in ancient Greece dealt with the big questions of life while walking. The peripatetics (peripatos = Greek colonnade), the pupils of Aristotle, met in the hall and philosophised together while strolling.

Our experience is that ideas flow while walking! Depending on the time and the question, specific topics and challenges can be dealt with in short walks or even mountain hikes, using the exertion of walking uphill or the concentration while walking downhill. Our whole body is supplied with oxygen, ideas just flow naturally.

PARKOUR supports teams in their creative processes, designs, organises and moderates walkshops and walk & talks, adapted to the respective topics and the participants.

Here you find more about Aristotle and philosophizing while walking.
